Bad news and good news. Yes, it’s the first of September (already!!) but that just means that the Rural 60+ Centre will be back to regular hours next week and resuming normal activities over the next month.
Some of our activities such as cribbage continue year-round but those that take a summer break are scheduled to return over the next few weeks. The Good Company Choir will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 2 to 3 p.m.–just $40 for 8 classes. Next up is disking, which will start on Monday, Sept. 25, at 1:30, at a cost of $4. On Thursday, the 28th, chair yoga will be offered at 10 a.m. for a $5 fee with instructor Colleen Dolce, and the ever-popular watercolour classes will resume from 1 to 3:30 with instructor Pat Isaac at a cost of $50.
See you at the Centre!
